Conflicts of Interest Declarations
Every time we run a casting process, we operate under the Be You Casting Conflict of Interest (COI) policy to ensure equitable casting that is as unbiased as possible and gives everyone the opportunity to be part of our projects. With us, it’s what you know, not who, and we back this up with our strict COI policy.
We’re proud of this policy. It provides for equitable casting, and underpins our open audition and transparency principles. We believe it’s best practice for our industry, and would encourage all other theatre companies to follow similar transparent processes.
Demand more from the gatekeepers in our community.
Below you will find transparent COI declarations for all successful applicants.
Each declaration outlines the panel for each project and any COI’s in our final cast that were identified and managed during the casting process.
Read more about our casting policy and procedure.
Please contact casting@beyouinc.org if you have auditioned for any of these projects and would like clarification on who conflicted out of discussing your submissions and/or auditions.
We want to ensure we are open and accountable for all decisions we make, and therefore welcome you reaching out for further information.
